we have a new reader in the house
there have been moments when i have thought my kids might never learn to read, but then to my amazement, they "get it" and suddenly start reading everything. connor recently discovered he can sound out most words now. this morning we had this exchange as he slowly read the title of the book on my nightstand.

You've gotta love Connor's logic! I can just see him taking that book to school for show-and-tell, trying to warn his fellow kid by telling them he found the book of conspiracy.
Not only can he read, but he has you figured out! I love it...we miss Connor!
that's funny. kai would probably read the book and use it on me...or try. i may have to look for that book.
