as soon as i got home from my girls weekend, we ran out and celebrated riley's birthday by trying out Cannoli Joe's - an all-you-can-eat restaurant that all the kids gave a thumbs up. with the smorgasbord of (surprisingly yummy) italian food available what did they each excitedly select? mac and cheese. of course!
friday after school, riley & friends celebrated her birthday at the pool complete with all of the requested cupcakes, brownies, and fav friends. happy birthday to my baby! i can't believe it's already been 9 years since she made me my most favorite thing - a mother.

Awww! Happy birthday Riley! Sorry we didn't have a chance to call. I did remember and meant to give her a ring-a-ling, but life gets so hectic. I need to be better about birthdays. So sorry!
Riley, looks like you and your friends had a great time for your birthday!! And how can you go wrong with mac and cheese? I'm sure your mom was pleasantly surprised not to find any of it stashed in the table drawer. Love the cute candles in the cupcakes!!
Nine years old?! Wow. You are almost the big 1-0. That makes Aunt Lisa feel better about turning the big 4-0 in a couple of years!!
